Would the complainers who were today told they will no longer be allowed to spend further money using their Egg credit cards wake up, take a step back, look at what you're complaining about and get off the news.
You are not entitled to credit. Not ever.
You do not have any reason whatsoever to call foul because a business has decided that they no longer want to lend you money, whether they have a good explanation or not. The subject is no more complicated to grasp than that. The effects of the changes are more far reaching, naturally. There will be consequences - they are the normal, everyday consequences of being refused credit, and they will hit some in real terms. Some of these will be hard luck stories that could squeeze some sympathy out of me. Most won't.
You are effectively shouting at the top of your voices - "You must keep giving me money I haven't yet earned. You've always given it to me before. What right do you have to stop giving it to me? I need it!" Do you know how stupid/entitled you look/are? Very, and not at all.
